In general, a wire-weaving stent is composed of hook and cross as basic technical configurations. Especially, the hook-and-cross stent of wire-weaving can make versatile types of performance by the combination of hook and cross. The conventional hook-and-cross stent ,however, is basically configured with only simple formatted pattern, so it is hard to implement more free and versatile performance of stent.
But the" DISC" structure of NEXTBIOMEDICAL can manipulate hooks and crosses more in freely with less constraints than the conventional one, so we can do design compounded and more complex structures, and even more through our unique manufacturing technique called as"8-way" method we are able to manufacture complex one. Dispersion in DISC means that hooks are not allocated or arranged just in limited positions, but rather distributed widely by the design purpose. Symmetry that hooks are distributed in 4 directions as in a manner of symmetry, and Circularity is the characteristic that it makes an uniform compression of stent sustaining a circle shape in radial direction.
